About this piece
The Olive Disc Lamp turns its shade into a thick glass ring, the centre left open so the fitting reads as a torus rather than a dome. The glass is blown in a deep olive tone that warms as it lights, and the round face sits close to its mount. Because it takes either a wall or a ceiling, it can run as a line along a corridor or as a single point above a living room. Two diameters, with high colour rendering.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.

This fixture takes an E27 bulb, sold separately, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
