About this piece
The Aurora Stillness Pendant builds its shade from stacked plates that step outward and then in again, each layer shielding the one below. The plates are iron finished in matte white, banded at the centre and base in wood, so the tiers read as overlapping brims. Built in LEDs sit inside the stack and bounce light between the layers, spreading a warm downward glow with no visible source. It hangs well over a dining table or kitchen island. Offered in four widths and several wood and paint combinations.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.

The LED is built into this fixture, so there is no bulb to buy or fit. It arrives ready to light.
