The Wood Band Ceiling Lamp wraps a flat acrylic face in a slim band of natural wood, the grain running unbroken around the rim. It sits tight to the ceiling with almost no drop, and the thickened acrylic spreads its integrated LED as a single soft plane of warm white light with no visible dots. The wood keeps it from reading as a plain utility fitting. Suited to bedrooms, hallways and low ceilings, it comes in four diameters, all the same shallow depth.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.

The LED is built into this fixture, so there is no bulb to buy or fit. It arrives ready to light.
