About this piece
The Zephyr Ceiling Lamp is built from a stack of paper bulbs that swell and narrow along its length, taking a form closer to a strung gourd than a conventional shade. Cotton paper is ribbed in fine horizontal lines across each section, giving the surface depth instead of a single flat wash. Because the whole shade becomes the light source, it fills a room without glare, hanging beside a bed or over a stairwell. Offered as a shade alone or with a tri-bulb cord set.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
Is a bulb included?
No, bulbs are sold separately, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
