About this piece
A slim travertine cylinder hung on a cord, lit from inside so the stone glows with its own veining.
The body is cut from a single piece of cream travertine in 25 or 35cm lengths, with a 6cm diameter that keeps the silhouette quiet. An LED bulb sits inside the tube and the natural pits and tonal shifts in the stone become visible only when the lamp is on.
Works in a row over a long counter or singly above a bedside table where you want the warmth without a hard light source.
