About this piece
The Handmade Rattan Pendant is woven from wisteria rattan into a broad dome that swells outward before curving under at the rim. The strands run in fine vertical lines crossed by a looser diagonal weave, giving the shade an airy, almost transparent body. Light escapes through the openwork in every direction, filling the room while marking the ceiling with a soft grid of shadow. Hung over a dining table it holds the setting together. Pale natural rattan with a turned wood cap.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
Is a bulb included?
No, bulbs are sold separately. This fixture takes an E27 or E26 bulb, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
