About this piece
The Rattan Braid Pendant is built from fine rattan rods bound in close vertical rows, swelling outward to a wide flared brim. The weave is stained a deep warm brown and topped with a turned wooden cap. Because the shade is open rather than solid, the bulb shows through as a soft core while thin lines of light rake across the ceiling. It hangs well over a dining table or kitchen island. Three diameters are offered on an adjustable drop.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
Is a bulb included?
No, bulbs are sold separately. This fixture takes an E27 bulb, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
