About this piece
The Veil Pleated Saucer Pendant flattens a globe into a broad, low ellipse. Panels of cream silk are stretched over a fine ribbed frame, each seam showing as a dark curved line that carries the eye around the shade and gives it pleated depth. Lit, the silk turns the whole volume into the light source, warmer at the centre and paler towards the rim, filling a room without glare. It hangs well over a dining table or in a stairwell. Two widths, on an E27 base.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
Is a bulb included?
This fixture takes an E27 bulb, sold separately, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
