About this piece
The Silk Fabric Pendant hangs as a single length of hand-knitted silk, gathered and twisted along its span so the cloth folds over itself in a soft spiral. Suspended from slim cords, it stretches horizontally instead of dropping in a dome. The integrated LED glows through the weave in a warm white light that varies gently with each fold. Set above a dining table or a long counter, it draws the eye sideways. Offered in four widths on an adjustable cord.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
Is a bulb included?
No, bulbs are sold separately, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
