The Kumo Floor Lamp stacks three swelling tiers of Japanese washi paper into a form that reads as a cloud settling onto thin metal legs. The paper is ribbed in fine horizontal lines, and the black wire stand holds the shade a little clear of the ground on slim splayed feet. Light passes through the whole body evenly, glowing from every tier at once with no bright point. It sits low beside a sofa or a bed. Takes an LED or Edison bulb, purchased separately.
