About this piece
The Brass Oval Loop Pendant reduces a hanging light to a single elongated ring on a fine cord. The frame is painted iron in matte black or brushed gold, with an acrylic diffuser filling the inner edge so the light traces the outline of the oval rather than flooding through it. Hung low in a pair, it flanks a bed or a console the way a table lamp would. Built in LED with a touch switch, in warm white or a tricolour setting.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
