The Milky Opal Globe Pendant reduces a ceiling light to its simplest possible form, a single sphere of glass. The shade is blown in opal glass dense enough to hide the bulb completely, held by a slim metal collar on a slender drop cord. Lit, the whole globe glows as one soft mass with no hot spot or glare, which suits a dining table or a stairwell. Hung in a row at staggered heights, the spheres group into a quiet cluster. Eight diameters, E27 base.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.

No, bulbs are sold separately. This fixture takes an E26 or E27 bulb, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
