About this piece
The Bowl Polystyrene Pendant takes the plain form of an upturned bowl, stepped in at the crown where the cord meets it. Moulded in high density polystyrene over a metal body, the surface carries a coarse texture closer to raw plaster than to a factory shade. The open base throws light straight down in a warm white pool while the shade itself stays matte and unlit. Hung in a row it suits a kitchen island, a dining table or a counter. Available in two sizes on an E27 base.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
Is a bulb included?
No, bulbs are sold separately. This fixture takes an E26 or E27 bulb, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
