The Black Teardrop Wood Pendant sets a turned wooden crown over a wide aluminium bowl, the grain of the timber running down into a painted shade that curves out and back in. The baked finish holds an even sheen with no visible seam. The open mouth sends light straight down, which suits a counter, an island or a table where the pool of light matters more than the spread. Offered in black or white, with a push-button switch and an E27 base.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it — most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
