About this piece
The Driftwood Branch Pendant takes a single length of timber, knots and bark intact, and channels a line of light along its underside. The wood keeps its irregular taper and raw cut ends, while an acrylic diffuser sits recessed in the groove so the strip reads as a seam of light rather than a fitting. Warm 3000K light washes down onto the surface below and leaves the branch itself in silhouette. It hangs over a long dining table or a kitchen island. Available in five lengths, height adjustable.

Does it need an electrician to install?
It wires into a standard ceiling box, exactly like swapping out an existing light. Turn the power off at the breaker, connect the three wires, and mount it. Most people do it themselves in about 20 minutes. If you would rather not, any electrician will have it up in a single visit.
